Charlotte & Alistair’s Wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall and Claridge’s

Westminster Room Wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall

Few London wedding venues feel as iconic as Old Marylebone Town Hall. Sitting proudly on Marylebone Road with its stunning columns it has been the setting for thousands of love stories since opening in 1924 and remains one of the most sought-after registry offices in the UK. Over the years more than 125,000 couples have said “I do” here, including well-known celebrities.

Charlotte and Alistair chose this venue for their London wedding and it was perfect! Their day had such a relaxed vibe from the very beginning. The couple are incredibly fun-loving and easygoing, the kind of people who laugh easily and make everyone around them feel comfortable.

What made the day even more special was the timing. Their wedding fell on Charlotte’s dad’s birthday, which brought an extra layer of emotion to the whole day.

Charlotte and Alistair held their ceremony in the elegant Westminster Room, the largest ceremony space inside Old Marylebone Town Hall.

Champagne Reception at the Fumoir Bar at Claridge’s

After the ceremony and couple photos around Marylebone, we jumped into a classic London taxi and headed towards Mayfair for the next part of the day at Claridge’s. Once we arrived, the couple welcomed their guests for a champagne reception at the famous Fumoir Bar. Claridge’s has long been one of London’s most iconic luxury hotels. With its beautiful Art Deco interiors, impeccable service and timeless atmosphere, it feels effortlessly elegant without ever feeling too formal.

The Fumoir bar is one of the hidden gems inside the hotel. It’s intimate, stylish and perfect for a relaxed champagne moment before dinner.

Dinner in the Foyer Private Dining Room

The evening continued in the Foyer private dining room at Claridge’s, where the couple hosted dinner with their closest friends and family. The perfect setting for an intimate wedding reception.  Candlelight and plenty of laughter filled the room as guests toasted the newly married couple.

And of course, the fact that it was also Charlotte’s dad’s birthday made the evening even more special. It turned the entire day into a double celebration, a wedding and a birthday all wrapped into one unforgettable memory.

A Relaxed and Emotional London Wedding

Charlotte and Alistair’s wedding was a perfect example of how beautiful a London registry wedding can be when you focus on the moments that matter most.

From the emotional ceremony in the Westminster Room at Old Marylebone Town Hall to confetti on the iconic steps and champagne at Claridge’s, the entire day flowed naturally and effortlessly.

It was relaxed and deeply meaningful for everyone involved.
